Leaving for South Africa March 31st

What a challenge to get everything ready! It's the first time in our married life that we stayed in one place for two years and actually enjoyed a little bit more of the conveniences of this life. It's quite a job to go through everything and get rid of stuff and pack only the most important things. We can take seventeen suitcases with us. But that's going to be a challenge in the airport! So we have to decide what is the most important to us. We checked into shipping a crate but we cannot afford something like that! We hope that maybe later when we are more settled in Africa that we could ship small amounts of things over. Especially tools, clothes for the children to grow into and school books and maybe a few other useful items for living. A brother from Buffalo Valley Christian Fellowship offered to take us to the airport at JFK. We are so thankful for that! It was a specific answer to prayer. Thank you, Elmer!

We are planning on being in South Africa only a few weeks to get the vehicle in order. It has been sitting for four years now and needs a few things replaced. It was in a barn and we recently found out that the rats chewed up the water pipes and electric wiring. We also need to replace a front window and a passenger side window and the starter and a few other things. That might take quite a bit of time.

Then we plan on moving up to Zambia to continue the work we had left back in 2004.

Please pray with us that the Lord's will be made clear to us and only the doors that He opens will be gone through.
