Geise Visit

Our last visit with our dear friends Stephen and Gwen Geise and family. What great fellowship we had! And this time without major stomach bugs like the first time. Billy (in the yellow shirt) came to visit from the States as well. And we had a game drive especially lined up for him.  We saw quite a bit of animals but unfortunately we did not see lion on this day. Brother Steve amused us with a fabulous moment at the one hide explaining the map to us all. We had an awesome laugh. Thank you, Steve for explaining the map so well! We will never forget our laugh.

The children enjoyed reading out of Grandma's Day together.

Having great fellowship in the tent at night.

Seventeen  of us in close fellowship during the game drive. Here we stopped for a picture under an old dead Mahogany tree in some lion infested terrain though we didn't find even one of them that day.

We also  spent a nice day at the ocean at Dog Point beach. Both children and adults had a wonderful day with a nice picnic to round off our tummies.  This picnic was more of a success than the first picnic we attempted to have at Thaba Patshwa. Remember that day? We should've written a book called "How NOT to have a Picnic".

Now that you are back in the states we often long for your fellowship and often wish you were a little closer. The children say there should be a bridge over the ocean.

The LORD bless you for your wonderful fellowship and brotherhood in Christ.

All our love from here at Lake Shengeza.

  1. Wonderful memories! I hope someday we can make more. I still shake my head about that "map moment"! The neurons were certainly misfiring that day!

Much love and blessings to you all.
